1 Getting Started

Welcome to your Outdoor Quran Reciter QR114. This device is designed to provide beautiful recitations of the Holy Quran in outdoor settings. It is powered by solar energy and can be controlled via our dedicated mobile application.

Before first use, please ensure the device is fully charged by placing it in direct sunlight for at least 2 hours.

3 Battery Installation

Critical Warning:

Incorrect battery installation may permanently damage the device.

  • Ensure the negative (-) terminals face INWARD (toward the springs).
  • Reverse polarity will damage the device.
Battery compartment overview
  1. Use the provided Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the 2x M3 screws on the edge of the back cover. Lift the cover off.
  2. Unscrew the 1x M3 screw on the stainless steel (SS304) battery cover and remove it.
  3. Place the 2x 18650 batteries (3.7V 2200mAh) into the compartment, ensuring the negative (-) terminals face inward.
  4. Replace the battery cover and screw it in place. Then, reattach the main back cover and secure it with the 2x M3 screws.

5 Initial Setup & Power On

  1. Pull the Battery safety tab.
  2. The device will play an Arabic recitation ("Bismillah...") automatically to indicate it is on.
  3. When turning the device Off, it will emit two beeps.

6 Mobile App Installation

Currently supports Android devices only (for test devices).

  1. Open your phone's camera.
  2. Scan the QR code below.
  3. Tap the download link that appears.

7 First-Time Connection & App Registration

Step 3: Pairing Process

  1. Ensure the QR114 device is On (you will hear the "Bismillah" recitation).
  2. In the app, tap "Add Device".

  1. Enter the PIN when prompted.

  1. A confirmation chime will play from the QR114 device to indicate successful pairing.

Note: When the app disconnets from the QR114 device, the volume will automatically reduce to a level below sound pollution (for test devices).

9 Advanced Controls

You can rename your device for easy identification (e.g., "Garden" or "Balcony").

11 Troubleshooting

Issue Solution
App won't connect 1. Re-enable Bluetooth on your phone.
2. Re-enter the PIN correctly.
3. Restart the app and the QR114 device.
No solar charging 1. Wipe the solar panel with a dry cloth.
Audio distortion 1. Reduce the volume level below 80%.
Password forgotten 1. Use the "Forgot Password" link on the app login screen.
